Princess of Wales sighted in farm shop in Windsor

The Princess of Wales has been filmed by a member of the public visiting the farm shop in Windsor, talking and smiling as she continues her recovery from surgery, amid worldwide conspiracy theories.

The Princess is shown looking healthy and back on her feet, following abdominal surgery in January.

Wearing black sportswear with pink detail and trainers, she had her hair down as she walked through the car park of the Windsor Farm Shop smiling broadly on Saturday.

She was accompanied by her husband, the Prince of Wales, who was wearing jeans and a baseball cap. Each carried a bag of shopping as they walked side by side. Their children were not in view.

Kensington Palace has repeatedly said the Princess is “doing well”, but her health and whereabouts have been the subject of global intrigue spread by social media.

The Princess is known to have been gradually getting out and about in private, including watching her children playing sports and going to their school.

On video

She has now been captured on video by a member of the public, who sold the footage to The Sun newspaper and US celebrity website TMZ.

Residents flock to the farm shop, which was the idea of the late Duke of Edinburgh, to buy locally sourced goods and produce from the royal estates.

The Princess has not been seen on public engagement since Christmas Day, when she walked to Sandringham church with her family.

On Jan 16, she went into hospital for planned abdominal surgery, with a statement from the palace then saying she would be out of the public eye until “after Easter”.

She has since been recuperating at home, releasing a Mother’s Day photograph of her alongside Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis which later turned out to have been digitally manipulated.
