Princess Anne’s son has broken up with his girlfriend of three years in shock split.

Peter Phillips split up from his girlfriend Lindsay Wallace after dating since 2021.

There is not believed to be anyone else involved in the split and the pair are still amicable.

The source said: “They were friends before their relationship blossomed.

“But Peter and Lindsay have gone their separate ways as the relationship simply ran its course.”

Wallace has been pictured at many royal events with Princess Anne’s son who is close to King Charles.

Wallace is an old-school friend of Peter’s younger sister, Zara Tindall.

The pair both went to Gordonstoun, a fee-paying school in Moray, Scotland, which was also attended by Charles and Prince Philip.

Wallace and Phillips grew close following a school reunion after they both experienced recent marriage breakdowns.

Phillips announced his split with Autumn Kelly in 2020 and divorced in February 2021.

Phillips shared two children, Savannah, 13 and Isla, 12 with his ex-wife, Autumn.

As both Zara and Peter rejected the Queen’s offer of a royal title, his children also do not have royal titles.
