Live M62 crash updates with huge delays and queuing traffic builds for miles

Queuing traffic is building up on the M62 for four miles following a car crash.

Long delays are building up on the M62 westbound following the accident which took place earlier today. According to the traffic management system, Inrix, this took place near to junction 22 at the A672 to junction 21 at the A6193 at Sir Isaac Way.




One lane is currently closed. Travel time is currently 40 minutes through the traffic.

It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved in the crash, or if anyone was injured.

Inrix said: “Long delays, one lane closed and queueing traffic for four miles due to accident on M62 Westbound from J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) to J21 A6193 Sir Isaac Newton Way (Milnrow).
