Wirral line service update after flooding at Moorfields station

Merseyrail have announced that Wirral line services are not stop at Moorfields station due to flooding.

Merseyrail posted on X (formerly Twitter) at 8.10pm on Saturday (May 4) to say that no Wirral line services will stop at the station until further notice. This is due to flooding at the city centre station.

Passengers have been advised to use other city centre stations. In a response to an X user, Merseyrail said the flooding is “around the escalators.”
