Russian attacks against Ukraine killed three people and injured 13 over the past day, regional authorities reported.
Russia launched 25 Shahed drones at Ukraine overnight, 15 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses, Kyiv’s general staff reported. This included a massive wave of strikes on Odessa, which set an infrastructure facility on fire.
Two people were killed and 12 injured in a drone strike on the city of Dobropillia, in Donetsk, the regional governor said. Russian forces also hit the town of Chasiv Yar, killing one person, authorities reported.
Elsewhere, Russian forces launched 12 strikes against settlements in Kherson, leaving one injured and causing damage to buildings an apartments, Oleksandr Prokudin, the governor, reported.
In Kharkiv to the northeast, multiple Russian strikes, including with drones, rocket and guided aerial bombs left buildings and cars damaged.
Further south in Dnipro, Russian troops struck the city of Nikopol with drones and shelled Chervonohrad, damaging powerlines and a gas pipeline as well as homes, Serhii Lysak, the governor, wrote on Telegram.
Finally, Russian forces attacked border settlements to the north in Sumy, firing 32 times and causing at least 184 explosions, the local military said on Telegram. No casualties were reported.
