“No matter who wins the main event, I want the winner,” Prochazka said.

PROCHAZKA STOPS RAKIC IN ROUND 2

Prochazka comes out with more confidence and is protecting his legs a bit more but is caught by a couple of powerful right hands by Rakic. Once more a right hand has Rakic wobbling a little as he retrwats back to the Octagon. The shot leaves Rakic bloodied but he fights back with big right and lefts of his own, before Prochazka lands another huge right hand and then follows up with shots, chasing Rakic around the Octagon before landing brutal shots with his opponent prone on the canvas, leading to the referee to stop the fight. What a fight!

PROCHAZKA-RAKIC: ROUND 1

Rakic begins with calf kicks to either leg as Prochazka varies his stance. Prochozka walking him down but is being caught and already seems hindered by the kicks. Rakic lands with a right hand which looks to have cut the #2 light heavyweight above the right eye. Prochazka remains dangerous and gets his opponent’s attention with a left hand, before wobbling him with a right just before the end of the round. Not enough to get the round but it will give him confidence when Rakic had dominated up to thast point.

PROCHAZKA-RAKIC TO END THE PRELIMS IN STYLE

A meeting between Czech and Austrian fighters in the light heavyweight division as #2 Jiri Prochazka meets #5 Aleksandr Rakic. It may not be wise to blink during this one.

KATTAR-STERLING: ROUND 3

Kattar looks fatigued and is taken to the ground once more making it seven takedowns from 12 attempts. Kattar survives to the end, but the result is not in doubt at all.

KATTAR-STERLING: ROUND 2

As Kattar gets back to his feet Sterling peppers his opponent’s right leg with knees and kicks. Kattar looks hesitant and is taken to the floor once more. The crowd don’t enjoy it, but this is smart fighting from the smaller featherweight. Kattar needs a stoppage in round 3.

A bit surprising it was that close. She won on two cards 29-28, losing the other by the same score.

ANDRADE-RODRIGUEZ: ROUND 3

Andrade lands a straight right and then ragdolls Rodriguez to the canvas. As Rodriguez gets up she is caught by hooks in close. Rodriguez tries a guillotine, but after a 20 seconds Andrade shakes it off. Rodriguez stumbles ot the canvas in the last 30 seconds and Andrade stalks her landing heavy blows. Less action than the rest of the contest but enough to ensure Andrade of victory.

ANDRADE-RODRIGUEZ: ROUND 2

The second round begins in the same way with Andrade being caught by straight shots and the calf kicks have not had too much impact on the taller fighter’s movement. Andrade’s nose is bloodied as Rodriguez lands increasingly with quickfire combinations. “How dare you say my name. I’m coming after you.

“July, I’m coming to your backyard, with your people, to kick your ass.”

GREEN WINS UNANIMOUS DECISION!

He takes the fight on all three scorecards 30-27, 30-25 and 29-26.

The Notorious One pays tribute to Miller’s efforts.

GREEN-MILLER: ROUND 3

The corner do their best job on Miller but immediately as the blows rain in on him again, the crimson mask returns. He tries to get back initiative with right hooks and knees but keeps taking straight shots through the middle and increasingly he can’t see them coming. But then a big left hand takes back some momentum and Green initiates a clinch. After a breather Green lands with big rights and left hands which send Miller down to the canvas, landing more shots on the floor but MIller gets up and then somehow lasts to the bell.

GREEN-MILLER: ROUND 2

A similar pattern early with Green landing more straight shots but eating a counter left from Miller. The cumulative damage is showing on Miller’s face with his blood and cheek oozing blood. In the last minute Green starts walking down Miller and it will be difficult for the 40-year-old to last the full final round.

GREEN-MILLER: ROUND 1

Green holds his hands low as usual and is caught by a southpaw straight left from Miller which forces him to pedal back against the Octagon and go down briefly. Green begins to take control finding his rhythm and landing straight rights and lefts reddening Miller’s face, then switching up with kicks to the sternum. But then in the final 30 seconds Miller lands again with a big left hand which has Green wobbling, the two then exchange shots on the buzzer with Miller connecting with another left and Green with a kick. A thrilling first round.
