LATEST: Police issue update after restaurants claim customers walked out without paying

It is believed there are around seven restaurants that have made allegations in Swansea and Cowbridge. On Sunday, we reported how newly-opened restaurant Bella Ciao Swansea alleged customers had walked out without paying a £329 bill. Several restaurants later came forward to report similar incidents had reportedly happened to them.

La Casona in Skewen, not far from Swansea, alleged that a very similar thing happened to them in February. They claimed that on February 23 a group of people left without paying a bill that was almost £300. The Yard in Cowbridge claims a similar alleged incident also happened there earlier this year with a bill for £151 going unpaid in March.
