The cheapest places to buy petrol and diesel in every part of Wales before Christmas

Christmas is just a few days away and if you’re planning on visiting relatives or friends this week, you may want to fill up your car with petrol sooner rather than later – as that means you’ve got one less thing to worry about in the run-up to the festivities.

Of course, filling up your car can be expensive and it can be frustrating to have to keep a constant eye out on the prices outside petrol stations whilst you’re out and about, in the hopes of spotting a good price and being able to save a few quid. Fortunately, the UK government set up a group in September that’s responsible for monitoring road fuel prices. The Competition and Markets Authority investigates and records fuel prices and reports any sign of malpractice to the government. It aims to help customers across the UK get a fair choice of prices when they buy fuel and forces retailers, including supermarkets, to share the prices they are charging customers on their forecourts.
