A jury heard how a teacher told a pupil ‘no one better find out’ before having sex with him at her flat.
Rebecca Joynes, 30, of Pensby Road, Wirral, is on trial at Manchester Crown Court accused of six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child, including two while being a person in a position of trust. She denies all the charges.
The allegations concern two teenage boys she met through her job as a teacher at a Greater Manchester school.

Jurors previously heard that Joynes allegedly groomed one pupil with a Trafford Centre shopping trip, before having sex with him, and then fell pregnant by another teenage pupil, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Yesterday afternoon, Wednesday May 8, jurors were shown footage of a police interview with the first boy – known as Boy A. He told officers that Joynes picked him up and drove him to the Trafford Centre, where they went to Selfridges.
He said he was unsure why they had gone to the store and asked Joynes: “Why are we actually here because I’m not going to get anything? I hope you’re looking for yourself.”
Joynes allegedly replied to the boy: “We came here for you.” He said he then picked up a £350 Gucci belt, which she paid for.
Boy A continued: “I remember saying I don’t know why you have done that. It’s a lot of money really.”
After leaving the shop, the boy said Joynes drove him to her flat in Salford Quays. While climbing the stairs, he said he felt ‘a bit weird’ about what was happening. But once inside, he said he sat on the couch and was later joined by Joynes.
They then went into her bedroom and started kissing before undressing and began having sex, he added. He told officers Joynes repeatedly told him, ‘no one better find out’.
However, he said he did not ‘finish’ during the intercourse, adding: “At the time, I thought to myself this is just weird so I didn’t finish. It was just crazy.” After they finished having sex, Boy A said he showered before lying on the bed next to Joynes for ‘a couple of hours’.
Later that evening, he said he suggested ‘doing it again’ and Joynes told him: “I don’t mind, whatever you want.” He claimed they then had sex for a second time. He told the officer they had not used protection and that he told Joynes: “I hope to God, you don’t get pregnant.”
He alleged Joynes replied saying she ‘doesn’t even know if she can’. The boy said he stayed the night at Joynes’ flat before he was picked up by the mum of a friend the next day.
Before dropping him at home, he said the friend’s mum told him: “I’m not going to tell your mum this time, but don’t do anything this stupid again.”
He continued: “She didn’t know it was a teacher.”
Later that day, he said he messaged Joynes on Snapchat to say he was concerned his mum ‘might find out’. He alleged she replied: “She better not find out that it was me.”
The boy said he reassured her she would not, but added: “I’m not staying again because it’s too risky. One time is enough.” He said Joynes sent a reply saying ‘that’s fine with me’.
Earlier on Wednesday, the trial heard that jurors watched the video interview boy A gave to police officers. Boy A told police Joynes had given him 10 of the 11 digits of her phone number and he worked out the missing digit to first make contact with her.
Within days they were exchanging Snapchat messages and after finishing school on a Friday afternoon he went home, changed out of his school uniform and Joynes picked him up at a pre-arranged point in her white Audi A1 car.
Boy A told the officer about an alleged conversation on the journey. He said: “She said something about driving. I went, ‘I wouldn’t know because I’m not old enough,’ and she said, ‘Oh shut up’ laughing and said something like, ‘Stop saying that’ but laughing.”
