A road in Northern Ireland remains closed following a “serious” overnight crash.
Police have advised that the Strand Road in Derry currently remains closed between Rock Road and Duncreggan Road, and access to Sainsbury’s is closed to the public.
Motorists are advised of road diversions in place directing traffic around Duncreggan Road, Northland Road, and Rock Road.

Police are appealing to anyone with further information relating to the collision to get in touch.
A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Police are currently dealing with a serious Road Traffic Collision on the Strand Road.
“Strand Road is currently closed between Rock Road and Duncreggan Road. Access to Sainsbury’s is closed to the public.
“Motorists are advised that road diversions are in place directing traffic around Duncreggan Road, Northland Road and Rock Road.
“Police are appealing to anyone who has dash cam or witnessed anything to please contact 101 quoting serial number 185 of the 11/02/24.”
