A sixth man arrested in connection with a stabbing in Liverpool city centre following a mass brawl has been named.
Anthony Dodson was stabbed in the chest during the incident, which is believed to have begun at a nightclub on Victoria Street in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27. The young boxer was found badly injured at the junction of Church Street and Whitechapel, and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Three other men, aged 21, 23 and 20 were also injured, with one suffering a stab wound to the back.

Yesterday, five men were charged in connection with the incident and all appeared separately at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, January 6. Tonight, police confirmed a sixth man has been charged with violent disorder. Jordan Kinsella, 29, of Harrogate Drive, Everton, is due to appear at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on Monday, 8 January.
Cameron Quinn, 21, of Swanside Avenue in Huyton, Milne Critchley, 20, of Sprucewood Close in Anfield, Luke Bowland, 21, of Webster Road in Wavertree, Adam Draper, 21, of St David’s Road in Huyton and George Miller, 20, of no fixed abode, all stand accused of violent disorder. Quinn also stands accused of possession of an offensive weapon and Section 18 wounding in relation to one of the victims, Mr Murphy, who was stabbed in the back.
When faced with a single charge of violent disorder, Draper pleaded “absolutely not guilty”. Critchley, Bowland and Miller did not enter a plea.
Quinn also did not enter a plea due to the seriousness of his charges, which could not be dealt with in the magistrates court. However, his defence counsel Gordon Crowe said: “He will plead not guilty to all.”
All five men were denied bail, and were remanded in custody awaiting a further hearing at Liverpool Crown Court on February 2.
