A fight broke out in a packed restaurant as families trying to enjoy a Mother’s Day meal looked on in horror.
Footage circulating online shows two women grappling, punching and pulling each other’s hair in what is believed to be The Restaurant Bar & Grill on Brunswick Street, Liverpool city centre.
In the video, some onlookers can be seen dodging the restaurant rumble, while others attempt to break it up. One person is heard saying: “She’s punching her head in” while another shouts: “This is our Mother’s Day!” A mum is seen trying to protect her little girl from the scrap as the women fall backwards into a seat.

Video of the incident has had more than 35k views on social media, with many reactions. One Facebook user said: “Stay classy!” while another said: “I feel ashamed for the women involved in that fighting, in a restaurant too. Have some self respect.”
On Mother’s Day last year a similar incident was filmed on Jamaica Street, with a number of women brawling outside Camp and Furnace nightclub.
A spokesperson for The Restaurant Bar & Grill declined to comment when approached by the ECHO. Merseyside Police said they had not been made aware of the incident.
