Royal Family: Meghan Markle ‘strides ahead’ as Prince Harry ‘troubled’ on Canada trip | Royal | News

Meghan Markle is “confident” and “striding ahead” in front of cameras during her and Prince Harry’s three-day trip to Canada for the launch of the Invictus Games. However, the Duke is still “troubled” by being on show, reports one body language expert.

The couple jetted off to Canada after causing outrage for the launch of their new Sussex.com website, leading many to accuse them of cashing in on the Royal Family despite stepping down from the Firm in 2020. Former actress Meghan, 42, appeared to be enjoying the spotlight, according to body language expert Judi James. But husband Harry, 39, looked “like a slightly troubled camera performer”.

The couple have been pictured walking hand in hand as they hit the slopes in Whistler, a show of “positivity, energy, enthusiasm and joy”.

Ms James told FEMAIL: “Meghan seemed to take a very active and at times dominant role here, walking ahead of Harry or striding slightly ahead when they walked together. Harry’s own smile looked a little less self-assured than his wife’s, only really converting into a congruent smile of genuine happiness when he started to join in with the sporting action.

“He still looks like a slightly troubled camera performer, walking with a dipped head and with one hand shoved into his jeans pocket while Meghan unfurled confidently in the spotlight.”
