Lesley Sharp has become a staple on prime-time TV over the past three decades, after starring in the likes of ITV’s brand new series Red-Eye and Scott and Bailey. The 64-year-old is married to Nicholas Gleaves who she has starred alongside over the years.
The acting stars have been married for 30 years and have raised two boys who are now in their twenties. After growing up in the world of showbiz with their parents constantly being on set, there was no doubt they’d follow in their footsteps.
Zachary, 29, and Gabriel, 26 largely remain out of the spotlight with little known about them. It is said that they prefer to stay behind the camera.
However, it has been reported that both of them work for a production company. Lesley and Nicholas, 51, backed their children and decided to go into business with them.
It has been reported that both Zachary and Gabriel are directors of Prim and Proper Productions, as are their mum and dad. Lesley and Nicholas met in the early nineties when they both ended up going into the acting industry.
Back in 1994, they tied the knot and the following year they welcomed their first child, with it being said off-screen they are a close-knit family.
Lesley was born in Manchester and will be a familiar face to fans of both stage and screen.
She started out at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, however, she revealed that she planned to turn her back on her career when she first started out.
The actress admitted she felt “invisible” and “didn’t quite fit in” as a child, but then managed to home in on her natural talent and soared to success.
Lesley is most commonly known for her role as Janet Scott in the ITV drama Scott and Bailey where she starred alongside Nicholas.

Success on the big screen came in the form of a BAFTA nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the cheeky 1997 flick, The Full Monty before winning Best Female Actor at the Royal Television Society awards for featuring in Afterlife.
Meanwhile, Nicholas has not only starred in a string of hit TV shows including Foyle’s War, Waterloo Road and Coronation Street.
