Princess Eugenie posted an adorable birthday message on Instagram for her three-year-old son yesterday.
The princess uploaded three pictures with her eldest son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, describing him as a “force of nature.”
Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter, Eugenie, has two children with her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Eugenie posted on Instagram: “Happy 3rd Birthday to our dearest Augie. Forever a force of nature and forever giggling with you.”
Eugenie and her husband’s youngest son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, was born on May 30, 2023.
Royal fans took to Instagram to wish August a Happy Birthday: “Wow those 3 years have gone quick! Happy birthday sweetheart.”
Another well-wisher wrote: “Aww lovely pictures Happy Birthday to little August.”
The princess usually keeps her children’s lives private, but she has shared sweet photos on social media and spoken out about how she hopes August will take after his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
In 2022, Eugenie wrote in The Spectator magazine: “I think of my grannie and what she has stood for, for so many people and for our family during these 70 years.
“I’d love Augie to have her patience, her calmness and her kindness, while always being able to laugh at himself and keep a twinkle in his eye.”
August was born on Feb 20, 2021, and is currently 12th in line to the British throne.
His middle name, Philip is a nod to Eugenie’s grandfather, Prince Philip.
The young royal has already begun his life as a royal appearing at public engagements like 2022’s Trooping the Colour event.
Augie wore a Union Jack sweater and waved to the audience at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
In January 2023, Eugenie announced that they were pregnant with their second child and posted a photo on Instagram of August burying his face into his mother’s belly.
The post caption read: “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.”
