Meghan Markle and Prince Harry settled in America after stepping down from the Royal Family, but the Duke of Sussex has spoken openly about his plans to return to the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given fans a major hint they’re not ready to cut ties with the UK as they hired an important member of staff.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from the Royal Family four years ago and have since developed a strained relationship with The Firm. Despite this, they’ve appointed a new communications executive who is based in the UK.




Charlie Gipson has joined the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as a communications executive. Charlie will be taking on the role of Director of Communications and working as the main point of contact for UK press.

Kyle Boulia has also joined team Sussex. Kyle is the new Deputy Press Secretary and Director of Communications for US media.

Kyle and Charlie join the wider team, including former director of global communications Miranda Barbot who is now vice president of programs and media operations. Ashley Hansen remains the overarching Head of Communications for Harry and Meghan and their company Archewell.

Harry and Meghan’s new link to the UK comes after the Duke of Sussex has spoken openly about his desires to return to the UK. During an appearance on Good Morning America, he said: “My family and my life in California is as it is.
