A huge band are set to release their first album in over ten years.

Music trio Cascada dominated the charts between 2004 and 2014 and were known for hits including Everytime We Touch and Evacuate the Dancefloor, instantly becoming the soundtrack for millions. The group which originated in Germany became the second most downloaded dance act of all time in 2010, just behind David Guetta.

But 13 years after their last release, Natalie Horler, Manuel Reuter and Yann Peifer are set to come back with what has been described as “exciting” after their presence on social media sent fans wild.

Most recently, frontwoman Natalie, 42, teamed up with British DJ and producer Jax Jones for a remix of his single, Never Be Lonely, following an unexpected performance at Cyberdog in Camden Market, London. In a new interview, Horler revealed that the upcoming album for the trio is inspired by the former New York nightclub, Studio 54, which is now a Broadway theatre.

“I’m so excited about it because it’s been a while since I’ve done a whole album,” she told The Sun. She went on to reveal that the body of work is almost complete which will no doubt come as a huge relief for fans. But this time, Natalie admits things are different for the trio.

Instead of putting their own beats and vocals to songs that have been written for them, she is instead writing all of the tracks on the album for the first time. Horler told the outlet: “I haven’t done a lot of songwriting on my own so I’m more than excited to be able to put my own tracks on this album.

“I’ve been fortunate not to have gone through too much heartbreak, but I’ve had many friends that have and when you’re close to them, you know what they’re feeling. I write from their experiences.” But since amassing thousands of followers on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, the group have been subjected to some rather interesting requests.

The singer explained that one follower slid into her DMs and asked if she could send them her worn socks. Cascada first teased a comeback when Natalie commented on Jax Jones’ TikTok of him in the studio. The producer later shared a clip of himself phoning Natalie to ask her if she fancied being on his latest track.
