Nestlé has launched a brand new flavour of its Aero chocolate bar, with fans rushing to get their hands on the ‘amazing’ treat.
The choco hazelnut flavour has been spotted by some keen-eyed shoppers in the UK and posted on multiple snack pages – although, it’s not officially been released yet.
A British food blogger, who goes by UK Newest Foods, posted pictures of the new bar to both Facebook and Instagram, exciting fans.
They wrote: ‘New Aero Choco Hazelnut! Coming soon to Iceland and The Food Warehouse, may be out already in some stores’.
Although the Iceland website says that the bar is not available online yet, it’s been popping up on the shelves of some stores.
The product description reads: ‘Enjoy the light yet indulgent flavour of Hazelnut in a chocolate bar with its unique bubbly aerated centre that melts in your mouth.
‘This sharing bar is made of nothing but our famous bubbly chocolate’.
One commenter on the UK Newest Foods Facebook post, wrote: ‘This looks amazing’.
Meanwhile, another shopper penned: ‘Aww I bet this tastes delicious’.
A third user tagged her friends and insisted: ‘It’s a need, not a want’.
Others added: ‘Omg I need’ and ‘Need to find!!’
Another UK snack blog, Snack News & Reviews, also took to social media to share the find on their Facebook page back in December.
Excited chocolate fans wrote: ‘Can’t wait!,’ ‘I reckon this needs to get in my belly’ and ‘Wooo yes’.
Meanwhile, someone else argued: ‘Be rude not to try’.
Others quipped: ‘Need, need, need’ and ‘I wanna try this so bad,’ with a third branding the chocolate a ‘game changer’.
It comes just after Nestlé confirmed last month that it had axed two popular sweet treats, after shoppers admitted to hunting up and down the country for them.
The multinational confirmed on X, formerly known as Twitter, that they’d axed Polo Fruits and Polo Gummies in the UK.
One eagle-eyed fan had been roaming supermarket aisles for a while before he asked the food giant: ‘Do you still make fruit Polo? I’ve not seen them anywhere for ages down in the southeast of the UK, yet been told you can still get them up in places like Yorkshire’.
Nestlé replied: ‘Unfortunately, our Polo Fruits and Polo Gummies were not as popular as others in the range and have been discontinued.
‘But we’ll surely let the team know you’d like to see them back’.
The chocolate giant also got rid of the fan favourite Caramac bar back in November, prompting fans to set up a petition to get it back.
It was axed by the brand who claim it’s not as popular as others in their range but it’s been a lifelong favourite for many Britons.
The caramel-based chocolate bar first appeared on shelves in 1959, making it a staple for Generation X and beyond. It was created by confectionary firm Mackintosh’s before the brand was taken over by Nestlé in 1988.
