Molly-Mae Hague’s fans launched to her defence on Thursday, when she came under fire for flying first class with her 11-month-old daughter Bambi.
The Love Island star, 24, has jetted to the £4,300 a night Ritz-Carlton in the Maldives with her fiancé Tommy Fury and their daughter – something she confessed she was ‘proud’ of due to the long-haul nature of the journey.
Earlier in the week, she had shared images of the journey, with pictures of Bambi lying down in her reclining seat as well as shots of her lavish in-flight food – which led to disdain and later defence of the star from her many fans.
Alongside a slew of sweet videos and clips, Molly wrote: ‘Feeling so proud to have gotten our girl to the other side of the world’, to which a fan replied: ‘No exactly hard when you fly business class, and you can lie down with her. She’s one lucky girl.’
In the comments section of bikini-clad snaps of her hugging Bambi, fans hit back at the comment, penning: ‘Jealous or what or just like being a TROLL’, ‘bit bitter helen’, ‘you jealous??.’ and ‘that sounds like you begrudge her that privilege’.
Molly-Mae was giving insights into the trip with her followers, starting with the plane journey over which led to the ‘catty’ comment from a fan.
Her defenders wrote: ‘Ah yes a baby instantly knows their in business class and decides not to cry for any of the usual reasons they would cry, simply because they’re in business class… that sounds like you begrudge her that privilege…
‘It’s difficult to fly for hours with young children no matter what class you choose to fly in. She is a great role model as a mum Mollie and Tommy have done a great job. I for one enjoy following their wonderful journey as a young family…
‘Jesus give her a break shes doing a great job and shes a great role model for young mums – you will never see her falling out of nightclubs – she spends her money and time wisely herself and tommy are an amazing couple…
