Meghan Markle ‘might be dropped’ by talent agency over Omid Scobie’s new book, says Angela Levin

Meghan Markle could be dropped by her talent agency as a result of Omid Scobie’s new book, a royal author has claimed.

Speaking on GB News, Angela Levin told Patrick Christys that William Morris Endeavour are “horrified” about the repercussions the book could have for the Sussex brand.

After the book hit shelves, furore was sparked when two senior royals were said to have “raised concerns” about the colour of Prince Archie’s skin before he was born.

The royals were named in a Dutch translation of Scobie’s book as Princess Kate and King Charles.

According to Levin, the rekindling of the race row could have damaging results for Meghan, including her being dropped.

“They said they were ‘horrified’, that can’t just be about the two names that were mentioned, it must be about their client, Meghan”, she said.

“It seems to me that they will think very carefully what they do next. I have never heard such a well known agency be clear with how they feel.

“Meghan needs to be very careful. A lot of people have dropped her. The agency have told her to ‘stop moaning’, because people are ‘getting fed up’ with it.

“If they know feel they have an even harder job to do in order to get her famous, it’s going to be difficult.”

Questioned by Christys as to whether the talent agency may drop the Duchess of Sussex, Levin gave a resounding “yes” in response.

“It is going to be very difficult to get the glamour she wants”, she said.

Christys challenged Levin by suggesting the agency will likely see Meghan as an asset, adding she could “make them a lot of money”.

Levin responded: “They could make lots of money, but I think she is someone who needs to be adored all the time by the public.”

It comes after a source told the express that Meghan’s talent team are “horrified” at the “never-ending scandal”.

The insider claimed: “There are potential deals on the table for Meghan that could just as quickly vanish if this continues.”

Scobie has denied the naming of two senior royals in his original manuscript, blaming an error for the names appearing in the Dutch translation.

The Royal Family is said to be “considering all options” in response, with sources hitting back at “wildly inaccurate” claims.

The race row dates back to 2021, when Meghan and Harry spoke to Oprah Winfrey and made explosive allegations about questions being raised over Archie’s skin colour.
