Man’s body found in park

Police have confirmed a body has been discovered in Merseyside country park.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed officers were in the area this morning, Wednesday, after reports of an “unexplained death of a man”. The incident is being treated as unexplained while enquiries are carried out, but is not initially believed to be suspicious.




The statement issued by the force said: “At around 7.45am this morning (Wednesday, March 13), the body of a man was found in Woolton Woods and Camp Hill, off School Lane. He was sadly pronounced deceased.”
