MAFS’ Peggy leaves fans aghast in resurfaced Take Me Out clip… as ‘unrecognisable’ star kisses on first date and acts ‘dippy’ despite bragging of her intelligence and staunch ‘values’

Her marriage to Georges Berthonneau has kept viewers hooked on MAFS.

Yet Peggy Rose Lawrence’s previous TV quests for love are what got tongues wagging this week, when a clip from her 2012 appearance on Take Me Out resurfaced on Twitter – showing her looking wholly unrecognisable.

While her appearance on the show from over a decade was unearthed in picture form last week, a video showing her on The Isle Of Fernando – the fictional location where successful contestants are sent for dates with their suitors.

Due to Peggy’s reluctance to engage in physical romance with Georges, fans were left stunned that she locked lips with her date Andrew, who she branded her ‘dream man’ while they went dolphin spotting in the Mediterranean.

A number of Twitter users penned: ‘Well she’s kissed this guy more on the first date than she has the whole time she’s been married to Georges it seems! Maybe she really doesn’t fancy Georges, which is why the intimacy isn’t progressing.’

Changing faces: Her marriage to Georges Berthonneau has kept viewers hooked on MAFS
Transformation: Last week, Married At First Sight fans were left stunned after a video of contestant Peggy from 10 years ago circulated the internet
Oh? Due to Peggy’s reluctance to engage in physical romance with Georges, fans were left stunned that she locked lips with her date Andrew, who she branded her ‘dream man’ while they went dolphin spotting in the Mediterranean
No thanks! She hasn’t been getting close with Georges due to her ‘values’

As well as her romantic inclinations and shockingly different looks, Peggy was also branded ‘dippy’ by her date after claiming to not know what dolphins look like – another stark contrast from her professions of intelligence on MAFS.

When MAFS first hit screens, Peggy revealed she is a Technology Risk Partner – something she admitted was not expected of her due to her glamorous appearance, as she admitted she is something of a geek.

After being selected out of a slew of fellow beauties on the show, the clip opens with Peggy’s date Andrew stating: ‘When I first saw Peggy walking across the bridge, she was good looking, my heart was pumping.

Peggy meanwhile said: ‘He was as good looking as I remember. Tall, handsome. Like words can’t describe how much I fancy the guy…

‘When Andrew kissed me, at first I was like, woah! Hold on a minute! What’s your name again? But I weren’t stopping him, I weren’t gonna stop him either you know. Carry on!’

He said: ‘We got on this boat, champagne waiting there, you know, really, really romantic.’ Peggy said: ‘I’ve never been on a boat before’, and said off-camera: ‘We didn’t know where we were going and as soon as I saw the dolphins I was in shock’.

She then said: ‘They’ve got fins like a shark! Oh my god, they’re like what you see in the movies, they actually go up and down.’

Despite her boasts of intelligence on MAFS, Andrew said: ‘Peggy’s quite dippy and I do like that in a woman, I’ve always said that.’

Not too impressed: A number of Twitter users penned: ‘Well she¿s kissed this guy more on the first date than she has the whole time she¿s been married to Georges it seems! Maybe she really doesn¿t fancy Georges, which is why the intimacy isn¿t progressing’
Wow: Peggy gushed about the ‘surreal’ date, saying: ‘This is too good to be true, this isn’t what I do every day… It was like a dream world and I was with my dream guy’
Teehee! Peggy was just 19 when she appeared on the Paddy McGuinness-fronted dating show

Peggy gushed about the ‘surreal’ date, saying: ‘This is too good to be true, this isn’t what I do every day… It was like a dream world and I was with my dream guy…

‘A guy has to be special for me to kiss him on the first date and there was something with Andrew, something just clicked.’

Her steamy moment with Andrew drew ire from fans, as they swiftly pointed out she would not get intimate with Georges – and even questioned his sexual preference of ‘rimming’ – yet seemed more than happy to get close to Andrew.

Users tweeted: ‘He saw more action in that 2 minute clip than Georges has seen all series!… She had different values then I guess… All this PDA and poor George can barely get a smile from her… THAT Peggy 100% knew what Rimming is….

Always said it: Despite her boasts of intelligence on MAFS, Andrew said: ‘Peggy’s quite dippy and I do like that in a woman, I’ve always said that’
Not best pleased: Fans were also shocked at her ‘dippy’ behaviour’

‘She will barely touch Georges when she is married to & with him for pretty much 24/7 for 2 months, but look how many snogs this guy got on a first date!…

‘No so uptight there is she?!?… Well she’s kissed this guy more on the first date than she has the whole time she’s been married to Georges it seems! Maybe she really doesn’t fancy Georges, which is why the intimacy isn’t progressing’.

It was then her intelligence that was called in to question, due to Andrew’s ‘dippy’ comments, and her comments to Georges about ‘having a brain’.

Viewers penned: ‘Naww the cheek of her tapping Georges head about having a brain and she’s out here shocked that dolphins have “fins like a shark” and they “go up and down”.’

Brainless? It was then her intelligence that was called in to question, due to Andrew’s ‘dippy’ comments, and her comments to Georges about ‘having a brain’
