Love Island star confirms SPLIT from girlfriend four months after WINNING the ITV dating show together

A Love Island couple have confirmed their split, just four months after winning the show together.

Jack Fowler and his girlfriend Justine Joy Ndiba have called it quits on their relationship after announcing they are now ‘just friends’.

The pair won the first-ever series of Love Island Games back in November which brought together past contestants from various international versions of the show.

Jack and Justine coupled up on the first day of the new spin-off show, and were the only duo to remain together for the whole 17 days of the series.

They scooped a $100,000 prize as the winning pair on the show, which saw former Love Island contestants from around for the world compete for ‘another shot at love’.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Jack confirmed the pair are no longer together as he gave fans a relationship update.

He wrote: ‘BIG love to everyone who supported me and Justine in Love Island Games.

‘Winning together was actually mental. Feels like ages ago now lol but just wanted to say we are keeping it as friends.’

He concluded: ‘It’s all love and vibes between us’ alongside two red love heart emojis.

While Jack is currently pursuing his DJing career, Justine lives over in Los Angeles, suggesting distance was a challenge for them both.

Jack first appeared on series four of the UK dating show back in 2018, where he and ex Laura Crane were dumped just before the final.

Meanwhile Justine won series two of the popular show over in the USA alongside Caleb Corprew in 2020.

Host Maya Jama crowned Justine and Jack the winning couple in the Games spin off before their fellow Islanders voted for Justine to win the $100,000 grand prize, giving her the option to either keep the money or share it with Jack.

Insisting they both deserved the money, Justine opted to split the cash.

She told Maya: ‘I wouldn’t have been able to get here without Jack. My family could really use this.

‘I just feel like the connection I felt with Jack this time was a lot more real than the last time.

‘[Jack] had a rough time in here, and I feel like we both really deserve it, so I’m going to split it.’

Jack then told Justine: ‘Money is not everything. Just to be here with you doing this is more than that.’
