Royal expert Ingrid Seward claims Prince Harry may be expected to apologise to Queen Camilla in order for the family to heal.
Ingrid told Loose Women star Coleen Nolan that she thinks the King would ‘certainly like for there to be a reconciliation’ with his son who recently flew back to the UK to be by his father’s side after learning about his cancer battle.
But she suggested that for them to fully mend their relationship, Prince Harry will have to issue a grovelling apology to King Charles’ wife following the revelations he made about her in his memoir titled Spare.
It follows a friend of Camilla’s alleging that the Duke of Sussex didn’t want his stepmother to be in the same room as him during his catch-up with his father.
In Harry’s memoir, he alleged Camilla had leaked stories about the Royal family to the media in a drive to transform her image. “I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar,” he penned.
Sharing her thoughts on Prince Harry and King Charles’ increasingly complicated relationship as father and son, Ingrid said: “I think Harry’s father would like there to be some reconciliation, but I think that in order for that to happen, Harry has to apologise to his step-mother. He has to apologise to Camilla once and for all.
“She’s the sort of woman that wouldn’t want to ask for it, but I think an apology might really be necessary at this stage,” she added.
