Katie Price’s Sleeping Beauty pantomime co-star taunts her for learning just ‘two of her 25 lines’ despite her whopping £60,000 fee

Katie Price’s pantomime co-star has teased her for learning just ‘two of her 25 lines’ for the show while receiving a whopping £60,000 pay cheque.

The former glamour model, 45, has taken on the role of the iconic villain Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at The Auditorium Liverpool at the city’s M&S Bank Arena for the festive season.

And her co-star, comedian Bippo, who plays The Castle Clown in the show, poked fun at reality star Katie as he warmed up the audience at the venue this week.

He said: ‘This is the show starring Katie Price, she’s amazing. She’s actually learned two of her 25 lines – it’s fantastic.’

Making clear he was trying to get a laugh from the crowd, he added: ‘I’m joking, you’ll see her. She is absolutely amazing.’

Katie will star in the panto until December 30, finishing her run at the 11,000-capacity venue just before the beginning of 2024.

Earlier this year, she took to social media to share her delight at landing the role, writing: ‘I’m beyond excited for this… Catch me as Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool over Christmas.’

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner previously told how she would be spending much of Christmas away from her children because she was starring in two panto shows over the festive period.

As well as starring in Sleeping Beauty, she’s also set to play Queen Rat in the adults-only Big Dick Whittington and his Pussy.

Speaking about her plans on her podcast The Katie Price Show, she and sister Sophie revealed her parents were planning to move in with her over the Christmas holidays.

Katie quipped: ‘So what the f*** am I doing Christmas Day you b****?’

Sophie replied: ‘You’ll be with all the kids and in panto, won’t you?

‘We said in January we’d have our own Christmas Day because [their brother] Dan’s in Thailand, you’re in Liverpool and next year we must do a Christmas all together.’

Meawhile, Katie has been tipped to return to I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! for a third time.

The television personality made her debut in the ITV show in 2004 and returned for a comeback in 2009, but a new report suggests Katie could be heading back to the jungle for a third time as part of the next All Stars series which will be filmed in South Africa and broadcast in 2024.

A source told The Sun: ‘Bosses were nervous to cast Katie in the first All Stars as they wanted to play it safe with names who wouldn’t do or say anything too controversial.

‘But while the show did well enough in the ratings to earn a second run, it didn’t have the same impact as the regular show as a lot of viewers didn’t like the pre-recorded format or lack of public vote.

‘This time around, they want to make a bigger splash by bringing back some of the bigger, more divisive characters from I’m A Celeb history, and Katie is high on the wish list.’

Another insider added that Katie would enjoy taking part because the All Stars series is pre-recorded and doesn’t include a public vote.

They explained: ‘The pre-recorded element would appeal to her too, as it would mean the public couldn’t keep voting for her to do the trials, which was one of the reasons she walked the second time around.’

Katie famously met her former husband Peter Andre during her first stint in the I’m A Celebrity.

The pair hit it off in camp and went on to date before marrying and having two children together.

She made a comeback five years later but quit after just a week, later explaining she wasn’t happy with being voted to take part in so many challenges.

Speaking on her The Katie Price Show podcast, the telly star explained: ‘The only reason I left the second time, was everyday the public was getting me to do challenges. I did them but people don’t realise that you only get two sets of clothes and once they’re wet, you can’t dry them, you have to wear them.

‘I kept smelling of fish guts, it was awful and you’re wet and cold and I swore on my kids life that if the public vote me, then I’m walking. What happened … the public vote me and I had to stick to it.

‘It was apparently an easy challenge and there were basically trying to keep me there. I think they were hinting that I was doing well but I walked. When I look back at the challenge, I wish I stayed and did it. Maybe there’s a third time lucky.’
