Katie Price has taken a swipe at her exes in new comments about her relationship with her boyfriend JJ Slater while also claiming she is ‘banned’ from her kids’ events.
The mother of five, 45, gushed that her family love being around JJ, 32, and ‘fully approve’ of their 14-year age gap relationship.
Taking aim at some of her past lovers, Katie explained that this hasn’t always been the case and has found it ‘uncomfortable’ between partners and her family before.
Discussing their romance, she said: ‘I’ve met his family, and all of my kids have met JJ. Everyone says how calm, gentle and sensible he is. Having your family’s approval is the best.
She told Closer magazine: ‘There’s nothing worse than when you can’t be around your family with your partner because there’s an atmosphere.’

Addressing their age gap, the star added: ‘We’ve been together nearly six months now. A lot of that time was hidden, which was the best thing ever. JJ’s so different from what I’ve been with in the past, which is good.’
Katie noted that in her parents’ relationship her father is younger than her mother Amy and her son Junior is also dating an older women, Jasmine Orr, 23.
The reality star admitted that while it would be ‘lovely’ to get married to and have children with JJ, she insisted she is in no rush at the moment.
Katie also spoke about how she has been banned from attending her children’s work events as she claimed their manager has stopped her from going.
Discussing it on the Stripping Off with Matt Haycox podcast, Katie claimed she and her family have been ‘disrespected’ by the management.
Katie did not name which child or manager she was referring to, but the only options are Junior and Princess as they are her only children with blossoming careers.
The TV personality shares Princess, 16, and Junior, 18, with her ex Peter Andre and Bunny, nine, and Jett, 10, with her ex Kieran Hayler. She also has son Harvey, 21, with ex-boyfriend Dwight Yorke.
She said: ‘Unfortunately there is an ex-manager of mine who is trying to do the same and take my kids off me in that way as well.

‘One of my kids is sucked into it and the other one is very like me, no I do what I want ‘to do and nobody is telling me what to do.
I’m not naming them, but one of them knows I’m their mum. And the other one, they all disrespect me as a mum, as if I’m nothing. The people around them look at me as if I’m nothing, and say you don’t have to tell your mum anything, you don’t have to report anything to your mum. We don’t even want your mum there.
‘One of my kids had a thing on and I wasn’t allowed to go, because the management were there. My sister and her husband went and they weren’t allowed backstage, because they were like no you’re not here but we’ll give you some passes to get free drinks. That is how my family is treated from the management, it’s disgusting.
‘I can’t tell them. they’ll learn themselves, I can only give my advice and they know that I know how to do the press. Press calls, that’s what I know. It’s like if you go to a red carpet, why do people go to a red carpet? If there’s a film premiere – why do people go? Because they want to be seen. If you want to be seen you want a headline or whatever. But now if they want to put me in the paper they do, if they don’t they don’t – it’s not like I need it.

‘That’s not being arrogant, I’ve been in it long enough, 30 years this year. Wear an amazing dress, outfit or suit, because you’re there to be seen you need the press. I know how to work it, I can only say, make sure you stand out, be different, don’t be run of the mill like everyone else. I know that works because that’s what I used to do. That’s what I love doing anyway.’
Katie, who has been married to Peter, 51, Alex Reid, 48, and Kieran, 36, recently said her past has made her wary of men.
Speaking on her podcast, she said: ‘The first one, Pete, I’d like to say it was real.
‘But if you knew what I knew now, you can read my mum’s book, because I’ve been gagged.
‘But everything we did was on TV because we had the same manager.
‘The second and third were just rebounds, I rushed them because I wanted that married life back and living with someone with the kids because that’s what I had with Pete.
‘So in therapy we talk about the patterns. Now I’m so exhausted with relationships.
‘The next time I go out with someone they have to have qualities, boundaries, (no) red flags. And it does scare me.’
