Katie Price reveals disabled son Harvey, 21, has been rushed to hospital as she posts shocking picture of blood-spattered bricks

Katie Price has revealed her son Harvey has been rushed to hospital.

The 45-year-old shared a photograph of blood-splattered bricks on her Instagram story on Monday, simply writing: ‘Hospital dash for Harvey.’

She did not explain what had happened to her eldest son, who is partially blind, autistic, has septo-optic dysplasia and genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome.

It’s been a troubling time for Harvey, who was also rushed to hospital a few weeks ago having suffered with ear problems.

Katie had said during a recent episode of The Katie Price Show, which she hosts with sister Sophie, 33: ‘I’m going to see Harvey on Wednesday, he’s having real problems with his ear.

She shared this worrying picture but didn’t say how the accident happened

‘They’ve syringed his ear out at the hospital again yesterday. He’s calling me [crying] “mum” and all that.

‘Last night when he went to bed they put a bandage around his head to stop him doing that with his ear. So he’s phoning me feeling sorry for himself. I’m going to go see him on Wednesday,’ she said.

It’s not known if his latest injury is connected to his most recent trip to hospital.

Katie shares Harvey with ex Dwight Yorke, 52, and last year claimed that he still refuses to see their son – despite her attempts to reach out to the former footballer.

‘The door is always open.’ Katie told The Guardian. ‘I would love the day I see Dwight and Harvey in front of each other.

‘My mum still contacts his manager every year, and asks does he want to see Harvey for his birthday, and it’s always the same. “No”.’

MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Katie Price for further information.

It’s been a tough time for mother-of-five Katie, who also shares Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter Andre and Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight with Kieran Hayler.

Last week, troubled Katie revealed to the Straight To The Comments podcast that she ‘mentally can’t face court’ as she reacted to the news of her second bankruptcy

Last week Katie revealed she ‘mentally can’t face court’ after her shock suicide attempt as she reacted to the news of her second bankruptcy.

The former glamour model has been declared bankrupt for a second time after failing to pay over £750,000 in unpaid tax – and will now face losing her home unless HMRC can recover the money.

Last week, she failed to appear at a court hearing in London with an official from HMRC saying she had failed to pay any money owed or responded to any correspondence since the demand was made for the unpaid tax last year.

When the news broke Katie was speaking exclusively to the Mail’s comedy podcast, Straight To The Comments! which embraces the hilarity and uniqueness of the MailOnline comment section with the celebs in question.

In a teaser for the episode, she discussed her bankruptcy with producer Jamie East and host Josh Pieters admitting that ‘when you ignore it, it just gets worse.’

When told a story about her had just broke, Katie gasped in shock and said: ‘Has it? Oh get lost! Are you actually serious, while I’m sat here? What have I done now?’

After hearing that she had been declared bankrupt a second time, she said she had been signed off because of ‘serious stuff’ in her life.

She continued: ‘I just can’t cope with going to a court. Mentally, I can’t do it.’

Josh asked when her debts started accumulating, with Katie explaining: ‘Since my breakdown. When you are ill and depressed everything accumulates.

‘If you can’t cope with something or you haven’t paid that bill. Communicate, don’t ignore because when you ignore it, it just gets worse.

‘It does upset me because they don’t know how hard I’ve tried mentally to get out of that rut that I was in. A rut that I hung myself and thought I’d died.’

And speaking on her own podcast, Katie said over the weekend she was struggling with Harvey’s college, saying: ‘I’m having a nightmare at the minute.

‘We were looking for him to stay at his college another year or if not a placement, but [the local authority] haven’t accepted it.

‘They’ve given me three months that he has to find somewhere else by July. With someone like Harvey you need the transitional move, you need to do it slow.

‘I’m trying to find somewhere nearer or something for Harvey but three months isn’t a long time.’

It is the second bankruptcy faced by Price as she is being chased by creditors for a £3.2million payment over the failure of her company Jordan Trading Ltd.

Judge Sebastion Prentis sitting at the High Court Rolls Building said Katie had been served with a petition in November 2023 with a demand for £761,994.05.

The huge amount is made up of unpaid tax from self-assessment on her earnings from 2020 to 2022 as well as penalties and surcharges.

The judge said she also owed £140,000 in unpaid VAT and added: ‘As with the unpaid tax no payment has been made.

Katie was served with papers in October by HMRC informing her of the debt owed – and she has failed to respond to the demand.

The judge said: ‘There is a substantial debt due from Miss Price due to HMRC and therefore I will make a bankruptcy order.’

Katie was first declared bankrupt in 2019 when her company went bust.

She has failed to appear at an insolvency hearing on six previous occasions with the model submitting an excuse for her no show each time.

Creditors are owed the £3.2million from her company selling perfume and cosmetics.

A HMRC source said every effort will be made to recover the money and if not paid then assets owed by Price will be seized.

The debt to HMRC could see her lose her £2million mansion dubbed ‘Mucky Mansion’ after it fell into a state of disrepair.

The latest court judgement adds to the woes of Katie who last week was fined for another motoring offence.

She was fined £880 after being caught driving a Range Rover at a service station on the A14 in Kettering, Northamptonshire in August 2023 despite having no licence or insurance.

As well as being handed eight penalty points – taking her total to 11 – the mother-of-five was also ordered to pay £972 in costs on top of the financial penalty.
