Prince William and the Princess of Wales are set to mark a special occasion “very differently” after Kate’s cancer diagnosis.
The royal couple will celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29.
However, a royal commentator said the Waleses will not celebrate the same way as usual due to Kate’s health.
Richard Fitzwilliams said: “They will undoubtedly be celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary privately.

“This year will be very different from previous years as Catherine is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after recovering from abdominal surgery.”
Prince William married his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey.
Fitzwilliams continued: “This is clearly a marriage of like minds as the years have shown.
“They are focused on parenthood with its ups and downs and ensuring their children grow up in as normal a way as possible.”

The couple prides themselves on a more ‘modern’ form of parenting and use a ‘hands-on approach’ with their children.
In the past, William and Kate have marked the special occasion by sharing a family video or a picture.
Fitzwilliams explained: “On their 10th wedding anniversary, they shared a delightful family video, last year it was a happy photograph of them riding bicycles together.

“The princess has appealed for time, space and privacy at this difficult time and there is unlikely to be a public commemoration of any kind.”
In 2001, William and Kate became friends while they were students at St. Andrews University and went on to date throughout their university careers.
William explained during their 2010 engagement interview: “There was a good sort of foundation. I do genuinely believe now that being friends with [each other] is a massive advantage.”
