Stuart Bingham puts away a stunning double to sink the pink and win that crucial 20th frame. He’s two frames clear as they march away for the interval, and that will hurt Lisowski.

Jack Lisowski 9-10 Stuart Bingham

Almost a repeat performance by Lisowski, but no! This time he almost clears up but misses the pink to the corner, and Bingham returns to the table needing the pink to clinch it…

Jack Lisowski 9-10 Stuart Bingham

On the other side of the screen, the talented left-hander Jack Lisowski made a brilliant clearance to steal the 19th frame of his match with Stuart Bingham and get back to 10-9 when he should have been 11-8 down.

In the 20th, they are now scrapping for control of the table in a safety exchange with one red remaining and Bingham leading 51-43.

John Higgins 10-10 Mark Allen (best of 25)

They go for a break at the mid-session interval with the match perfectly poised, and Allen is spotted heading straight to the practice table, understandably so – he didn’t have many chances to pot balls over the past 45 minutes or so.

Higgins wins 20th frame! John Higgins 10-10 Mark Allen (best of 25)

Brilliantly done by John Higgins, first to build that big break from a difficult position, and then to win that crucial safety battle.

They are all square at 10-all in this race to 13.

John Higgins 9-10 Mark Allen (best of 25)

Higgins plays a masterful safety shot to leave Allen against the baulk cushion and unable to see any of the six reds. Allen tries to roll against a red sitting on the top rail via a two-cushion escape, but hits the black with his first attempt and leaves a pot with his missed second try.

Higgins pots the red and that’s the frame wrapped up…

John Higgins 9-10 Mark Allen (best of 25)

Higgins has done really well so far to piece together this break, potting the aforementioned brown which had ended up at the wrong end of the table and clearing red after red out of the way too. But he loses control when accidentally nicking the pink trying to position himself for the next red, and he hangs his head.

Higgins plays the white safe against the top cushion, and Mark Allen returns to the table 68 points behind with 75 points remaining.
