Yes, that’s right, according to 44-year-old TikTok user @larloo22, you can achieve a wrinkle-free skin thanks to a special ingredient in your Sunday roast.

Once you’ve done eating your hearty dish, don’t go chucking the bones away – as you can then use them up to make bone broth, which is what the beauty whizz was raving about in her video.

Often dubbed as one of the ”superfoods” in the world, bone broth is believed to have a number of benefits that aid not only your skin but overall health.

Thanks to its low calorie and fat content and high levels of protein, collagen, and amino acids, which support immunity, gut health, cognitive function, the drink – also referred to as ”liquid gold” – supports healthy joints, hair, skin and nails.

According to experts, the boiled-up bone juice – which you can easily make yourself – is also said to aid sleep, mental wellbeing, as well as boost metabolism.

Bone broth has long been hailed by health fanatics on social media – and the 44-year-old is no exception.

Taking to TikTok, the beauty fans explained why she was raving about the warm drink, which she reassured tasted ”good”.

”The secret to long lashes, wrinkle-free, hydrated skin, long hair, strong nails and amazing joint health, right here – […] bone broth.”

What’s more, not only did she insist that paired with collagen the broth aided her appearance, the woman noted that it’s ”increased” her energy levels.

Banana method

Not entirely convinced – or are a veggie or a vegan and looking for a plant-based alternative?

She also recently shared a 5p hack – but be warned, smelling it might make you gag.

In a video posted on the platform, the 44-year-old registered dental hygienist demonstrated how she used an old banana peel to make her skin look young.

”Try this banana peel method to help moisturise and hydrate your skin.

“There are so many antioxidants in bananas that can improve your skin health.”

She instructed: “Take the banana peel, the darker the better. The brown spots are good.

“The brown spots produce TNF – Tumor necrosis factor – which is a substance that could kill cancerous and abnormal cells.

“What you’re going to do is you’re going to take the inside of the banana peel and you are just going to rub it really gently on your skin.

“So rub it around your skin, wherever your skin is dry. We get dry around our nose.

“Grab a larger peel and use it on your neck.

“You want to go in an upward motion.

“We are going to leave it on for 10 minutes, once our face is coated and like I explained in my last video it’s loaded with antioxidants.

“It’s loaded with potassium to help hydrate the skin.

“It’s loaded with vitamin B, which helps reduce ageing. It’s loaded with vitamin E to help the skin’s protective layer.

“I’ve got this on my skin, my skin feels tight.”

The beauty professional said it is best to leave it on for ten minutes before rinsing it off with warm water and completing the process with your typical skincare routine.
