Give this marketing team a bonus as Hyundai Motorsport has hilariously recreated the very first GTA 6 trailer from Rockstar.
Last month’s first trailer for the upcoming GTA 6 increased the hype for Rockstar’s game even more. The trailer featuring fan-favorite Lucia with Tom Petty’s “Love Is A Long Road”, easily surpassed the all-time views registered by the first GTA 5 trailer in twelve years, and now sits at more than 169 million views. Since the release of the trailer, there have been various recreations, including one within GTA V, but this new one from Hyundai Motorsport’s marketing team deserves extra praise. The “Grand Test Auto XXIV” video recreates Rockstar’s GTA 6 trailer in a rather hilarious way, complete with Tom Petty’s lovely soundtrack. Check it out below:
GTA 6 is expected to be released on consoles in the first quarter of 2025, although analysts at Bank of America expect the game to be delayed, and imagine that a release closer to the end of 2025 is more likely. “The GTA 6 debut trailer, while exciting, did not contain elements that convince us that the game is well into alpha testing,” analysts Omar Dessouky and Arthur Chu said last month. “Moreover, it did not mention a PC version launching in 2025.”

Going by the insane popularity of the game’s first trailer, we can only imagine how big this game will become, especially given the ongoing success of GTA V – more than a decade after the original launch of GTA V, the game is still selling strong and topping sales charts.
