How To Watch Golden Globe Nominations On December 11 – Deadline

The 81st Golden Globe Awards will be handed out next month, but the nominations are coming Monday, December 11. Here’s a guide on how to watch the reveal.

Cedric the Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama will announce the nominees starting at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT. The trophy hopefuls will be revealed at CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes, and 10 categories revealed live exclusively on CBS Mornings beginning a half-hour later. The nominees will be highlighted across Golden Globes social media accounts as they are announced.

CBS will carry the event live coast-to-coast on Sunday, January, starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT, following an NFL doubleheader. It will mark the Eye network’s first time airing the Golden Globes in more than 40 years. It also will stream on Paramount+.

The new broadcast partnership follows the Globes’ longtime association with NBC. and brings the ceremony back to the network where it aired in 1981 and 1982. It gives CBS two of the top awards shows on TV with the Golden Globes and the Grammys, which will be handed out Sunday, February 4.

Two new awards categories in film and TV — Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures and Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television — were introduced this year and will be awarded for the first time at the 2024 Globes ceremony on January 7.

Dick Clark Productions will plan, host and produce the 81st annual awards, with Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner serving as showrunners. Weiss also will direct the telecast.
