Football’s Kyle Juszczyk ’13, Truman Jones ’23 to Meet in Super Bowl LVIII

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard University football alumni Kyle Juszczyk ’13 of the San Francisco 49ers and Truman Jones ’23 of the Kansas City Chiefs are set to meet in Super Bowl LVIII on February 11, marking the first time that two Crimson alumni will compete in the same Super Bowl.
 
Juszczyk will make his second appearance in the Super Bowl after also competing in Super Bowl LIV with the 49ers, while Jones – a rookie this season – will head to the Super Bowl for the first time.
 
Harvard has tallied nine Super Bowl appearances across eight players, including four champions. That group includes Juszczyk, Jones, John Dockery ’66 (Super Bowl III – Champion), Pat McInally ’75 (Super Bowl XVI), Jamil Soriano ’03 (Super Bowl XXXVIII – Champion), Isaiah Kacyvenski ’00 (Super Bowl XL), Matt Birk ’98 (Super Bowl XLVII – Champion), and Cameron Brate ’14 (Super Bowl LV – Champion).
 
Super Bowl LVIII will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. (CBS) at Allegiant Stadium – the home of the Las Vegas Raiders – in Paradise, Nevada.
