Product designers have a difficult job in getting the attention of consumers – and sometimes they need to think outside of the box so their items stand out from the crowd.
This can result in unusual, eye-grabbing packaging for items on the shelves of shops around the world – but some products grab shoppers’ attention for all the wrong reasons.

Some of the strangest examples include a Wonder Woman 3 in 1 body wash, shampoo and conditioner – but to get the product out of the can, the superhero ‘foams at the mouth’.

And in an even weirder turn of events, one shopper stumbled across a toy gun which was marketed for children as a ‘musical instrument’.
Over in Sweden, someone appeared to mix up their household pets as a photo frame labelled with ‘my dog’ featured a snap of a suspiciously feline-looking creature.
And another mix-up occurred in the world of superheroes when Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear was marketed as a character from Marvel’s Avengers.
