Dua Lipa ensures all eyes are on her as she steps out with newly-dyed bright red hair while sporting fluffy white coat outside Global Studios

Dua Lipa turned heads on Wednesday as she made a glamorous appearance at Global Studios in London.

The singer, 28, stepped out in a fashion forward fluffy white jacket, teamed with casual blue jeans and a black top.

She added an extra few inches of height to her frame with a pair of burgundy high-heeled boots.

Dua added a chunky gold ring and a maroon handbag, which perfectly matched her newly-dyed dark red hair.

She styled her eye-catching new tresses in soft waves with several tiny braids, while finishing the striking look with dramatic winged black eyeliner.

The New Rules hitmaker was seen getting out of her car to enter the building for her latest media appearance to promote her upcoming single.

Dua is set to release her highly-anticipated track, Houdini, on Thursday, November 9 at 11pm GMT.

The song marks the artist’s first new solo music since her 2020 Future Nostalgia record.

She has since dropped collaborative songs, including her hit feature Dance the Night Away written for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie.

The pop star is reportedly putting the finishing touches to her ‘really personal third album’.

Dua has spent hundreds of hours in the recording studio inbetween sections of her world tour.

She hopes to release new music before the end of 2023 and her record company bosses are desperately trying to ensure recordings for the highly-anticipated LP are secure after a song she previously worked on with Pharrell Williams was leaked.

A music insider told The Sun: ‘Dua’s third album is really personal to her and she has been hands on at every turn.

‘She has spent hundreds of hours in the studio and has written on every song — that is really important to her.

‘Dua has been very clear about her direction in keeping it upbeat and fun, but she will be a lot more revealing in her lyrics.

The source also hinted at collaborations in the album as ‘talented artists’ have been asking to work with her.

Speaking last month to the publication, Dua said: ‘It has a lyrical theme, more so than sonically.

‘There’s still a sonic element as you go through it, it’s still pop. I still want to dance and do another crazy tour. It’s a bit more mature [than Future Nostalgia] I think in terms of the experiences.’

Future Nostalgia won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2021 and its lead single Don’t Start Now attained critical success, including Grammy nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

The release of Houdini comes after it was reported that Dua is set to become the wealthiest British female popstar as she parts ways with her management company.

The chart-topper isn’t just a master of pop tunes – off the stage she has bought the rights to her publishing catalogue and made a new business move.

Dua has decided to begin working with her businessman dad, Dukagjin, known as Dugi, and could be on track to ‘become a billionaire’.

The pair have set up a company, Radical 22 Publishing Limited, to help manage all her commercial assets just days after she announced she had cut all ties with her former management company TaP.

A source told The Sun: ‘Dua wants to take back control of her career and Dugi is very hands-on.

‘He felt like she was giving away too high a percentage of her earnings, and after becoming her manager he felt the next logical step was to come in as an official business partner.’

While a few in the industry are comparing her and her father’s relationship to that between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, the source assured that although firm, Dugi will prioritise his daughter’s best interests.

Discussing Dua’s new strategy to ensure she possesses ownership of her songs, the source explained: ‘Essentially, the move also has echoes of Taylor Swift — a huge female pop star rewriting the narrative and making money on her own terms.

‘By the time she’s 40, Dua could be a billionaire.’

This week Dua was mentioned alongside Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran as the British stars who collectively contributed to UK music export raking in £4Billion in 2022.

And while her previous deal with TaP saw her giving away around 20 per cent of her income, now with the help of her father she will be able to hopefully retain everything she earns.

Last week, it was revealed that TaP have sold the rights back to the artists as they wished Dua well for the future.

The singer signed with TaP when she was originally signed by executive Ben Mawson in 2013 after he spotted her in a London cocktail bar.

She parted ways with the firm in February 2022 and has since been managed by her father.
