Darts sensation Luke Littler told talkSPORT he is back on the kebabs and will spend his thousands in prize money on a trip to Blackpool or Alton Towers with pals.
The 16-year-old has taken the Alexandra Palace by storm, reaching the last 16 of the PDC World Championship with his win on Wednesday night.
Littler beat Canadian Matt Campbell 4-1 to become the youngest player to ever reach the final 16, earning £35,000 in prize money along the way.
In another styiing performance, the teenager averaged 97.19, threw eight 180s and produced three 100-plus checkouts, including a majestic 164 in the fifth set.
And Littler already has started thinking about what he might do with the money he has made so far, which could grow even more if he reaches the quarter-finals.
He told talkSPORT: “All my friends are watching at home, we’ve always said we need to go Blackpool or Alton Towers so I think they will be looking at me like ‘you’re paying, Luke’ and I’ll be like, yeah, okay!”
Littler faces either Jim Williams or darts legend Raymond van Barneveld in the next round – and he already has history with one of them.
The teenager, who was 13 when the BDO ended in 2020, added: “I’ve played Jim back when the BDO was still about.
“He beat me when I was 3-1 up so there is a bit of revenge there but if Raymond can get over the line then it will be unbelievable to play him at the Alexandra Palace.”
But the question on everyone’s lips was how he was going to celebrate his victory on Wednesday night, what’s his celebratory meal?
He said: “I asked the Ally Pally what they wanted me to eat and they said kebab so kebab it is!”
Littler’s victories have already gone down in Ally Pally folklore, having already beaten Christian Kist and UK Open champion Andrew Gilding.
And the teenager is growing more in stature on the stage, playing up to the crowd with some stunning play.
Littler, who won the World Youth Championship in November, added: “I am incredibly proud of myself. I’ve just got off stage and saw my mum and just said the dream continues because it is still on.
“Obviously, everyone thinks about winning the Worlds. I was only thinking about winning the game now I’ve got my sights set on the next few rounds.
“I hadn’t thought about winning [the World Championship]. Now I’ve beat Matt, my mum said the dream is still on. So anything can happen.
“The crowd are on my side, they love a 180. I always give them a little finger point. It is unbelievable on there.
“I went 3-0 up in the first set and 3-0 up in the second set and then I was calm. It was the calmest I’ve been up there.”
