Ricky Norwood reportedly stormed out of Dancing On Ice training and threatened to quit the show this week.

The former EastEnders actor, 40, is said to have had a furious argument with his professional skating partner Annette Dytrt on Thursday, prompting him to walk out after just 15 minutes of practice.

A source told The Sun: ‘Ricky was trying to work on his posture but Annette was getting frustrated that he was not grasping it.

‘He felt that Annette was treating him like a kid and was clearly frustrated at her lack of patience.

‘Ricky stormed off the ice and threw his skates off in a rage while shouting “I’m done” and “f*** this”.

‘Annette is a perfectionist and wants to shine on the show, given that it is her first series.’

MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment.

Ricky was axed from playing Arthur ‘Fatboy’ Chubb on EastEnders back in 2015, after five years on the soap.

He was suspended for two months in 2015 when photos of the star ‘smoking marijuana’ on Skype emerged, amid reports he also performed a sex act while naked during the video conversation.

A spokesman for the BBC show said at the time: ‘We can confirm Ricky is leaving. We wish him all the best.’

BBC bosses decided to suspend Ricky from filming for two months when the incriminating pictures of him first came to light, while the London-born actor apologised for his actions.

Ricky won the award for Best Newcomer for the role in 2010 at the Inside Soap Awards and was named Most Popular Newcomer at the 2011 National Television Awards.

The actor made a cameo appearance as Fatboy in a flashback episode surrounding the return of Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) last year.

Hannah Spearritt was the second star to be eliminated last Sunday after Movie Week.

The former S Club 7 singer, 42, was sent home with professional partner Andy Buchanan after their Frozen performance where she transformed into Elsa and scored just 20 points out of 40.

Meanwhile Love Island’s Amber Davies was plastic fantastic after her Barbie routine with partner Simon Senecal earned her the highest score of the series so far – with 31 points.

Hannah and Andy found themselves in the bottom two with Claire Sweeney and Colin Grafton but there was no skate off this week in a big twist as the judges scores and the public vote were combined and the lowest scoring star was booted off straight away.

Holly Willoughby once again presented alongside co-host Stephen Mulhern for the third week running, while judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Oti Mabuse and Ashley Banjo were back again.

Hannah said after her elimination: ‘I have enjoyed it, Andy has been a joy and thank you for the journey!’

It comes after Ricky Hatton and his partner Robin Johnstone were the first stars to be eliminated on last Sunday’s show.

During the show Holly, 42, was forced to apologise for ‘swearing’ after it appeared she had said the F word after Stephen spooked her.

After scaring her in a funny moment it appeared she let the word slip and later in the show apologised for ‘if it sounded like she had said it’, before she added she ‘didn’t think she had’.

She joked she would watch the episode back on ITVX to see if she had actually let it slip.

Dancing On Ice continues on Sunday 4 February at 6.20pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
