Personal trainer Chloe Madeley wowed on a girls night out while her estranged husband James Haskell was spotted planting a kiss on another women following the breakdown of their five year marriage
Chloe Madeley put her relationship woes behind her as she donned a daring outfit for a girls’ night out while her estranged husband James Haskell was spotted ‘kissing’ another woman.
The daughter of TV stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan announced her split from the rugby star over the weekend after weeks of speculation. Both Chloe, 36, and James, 38, had been spotted without their wedding rings in recent weeks and the sports star was also seen cosying up to a mystery blonde.
The pair decided to address the rumours by announcing they decided to go their separate ways after five years of marriage last week. The couple welcomed their daughter, Bodhi, into the world in August 2022. Both Chloe and James have had the support of their friends following their emotional statement.
On Thursday, Chloe headed on a night out with her celebrity hairstylist pal Lou Teasdale as they both wore matching eye-popping outfits. Personal trainer Chloe stunned in a black mini skirt, cut-out black top and knee high cowboy boots, while her mate Lou looked gorgeous in a very similar number. They posed together in a red bathroom mirror selfie as Lou wrote: “How cute are we.”
Chloe’s night in the capital came after James was spotted planting a kiss on a woman’s cheek. The former England rugby player was seen saying a fond farewell to a mystery woman following his own night out in London. James was snapped hugging a woman in a green coat, who then pushed James away giggling.
They were at the London Palladium following James’ tour with fellow rugby star Mike Tindall. He appeared in high spirits as he focused on his work. Earlier this month Chloe ditched her wedding ring on a girls night out. Her move came just days after James was spotted speaking to a mystery blonde woman on a night out at the celebrity hotspot Chiltern Firehouse.
The identity of the blonde woman was later reported to be Martine Bridge, a PR executive who James is said to have known for years. The pair haven’t been seen together in public since the snaps of James. After Chloe was seen without her ring, James also ditched his. While on a walk with daughter Bodhi, James pushed the pram and his band was no where in sight.
On Saturday, Chloe issued a statement where she explained how she hadn’t planned to announce her separation from James – especially not while her family-focussed reality TV show is currently airing – but speculation about the state of their relationship has forced them to go public with their split.
She said: “James and I mutually decided separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand. Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
James later went on to share the same statement on his Instagram page, captioning a screenshot of the statement: “It’s with a lot of sadness I write this post, but unfortunately, in the world we live in, it has to be done. My priority is my daughter’s and Chloe’s happiness and security. For that reason, I won’t be commenting any further.”
Since announcing their split, James has been confiding in close pal Mike Tindall. He opened up to Mike on the pals’ podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby. He said: “So for those of you who don’t know, my missus and I are separated. We’re separated but we’re committed 100 per cent to my daughter. It’s obviously a complicated time and we have to play it out in front of the media. Because I haven’t said anything, people fill that void and fill that silence. And obviously this week, in the last sort of three or four weeks, there’s been lots of conjecture.”
While Chloe has been seeking the support of her friend Lou and over the weekend she took to her social media to share a cheeky sex conversation between the mates. She posted a screenshot of herself and Lou discussing the viral voicenote that gripped social media users last week.
