Child in critical condition after motorbike collision in Napton field during village show | Birmingham Live

A child is battling for their life after being hit by a motorbike in a field, prompting police to launch an urgent investigation. The incident occurred in a field off Old Brickyard Lane in Napton, Warwickshire, where a village show was taking place.

The child, whose identity has not been disclosed, was involved in a collision with a small motorbike yesterday evening. According to the police, the child was rushed to hospital with “life-threatening head injuries” following the collision.




It remains unclear whether the incident took place at the Napton Horse, Pony and Dog Show, which was held throughout the day. A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police stated: “Earlier this evening a young child was taken to hospital with life-threatening head injuries after a collision involving a small motorbike in a field off Old Brickyard Lane in Napton. If you have dashcam or phone footage of it, please contact us quoting incident 275 of May 25.”
