Capcom and Street Fighter 6 wish you a happy holidays with these adorable and festive art pieces

The holidays are here, and people all over the globe are spending time with loved ones, reflecting on their year, and getting in some much needed relaxation before 2024 rolls around.

For those who celebrate, today is Christmas Eve, and a lot of folks in the community are feeling festive and celebrating in anticipation of the big holiday. The official Capcom USA and Street Fighter X (formerly Twitter) accounts have shared some cheer with fans today, releasing a couple of adorable holiday-themed art pieces to help wish everyone a happy holidays.

Beginning with the artwork from Capcom USA, this piece features several characters from the company’s biggest IPs having some fun in the snow. Everyone is depicted in a chibi style for extra cuteness, and there are several familiar faces to be seen.

From Street Fighter 6 we see Kimberly, Marisa, and Rashid, Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Leon Kennedy and Ashley Graham, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters from Resident Evil Village, and more. The gang can be seen flying a Rathalos-themed kite and enjoying the snow day.

The Street Fighter 6-themed holiday art piece goes in a slightly different direction than the general Capcom one. This time, we see an in-game screenshot of an avatar dressed up as Santa Claus as they leap up into the air.

Using what appears to be some of the photo filters from the Battle Hub, we see overlays and effects that bring the Christmas-theme to life littered throughout the screenshot. There’s a Blanka-chan Rudolph up front, a Zangief snow man, presents, lights, and stars strewn across the piece.

The best part of this artwork, though, is the silhouette of a sleigh soaring across the moon. If you look closely, you can see that it’s Rashid and his turbulent wind pulling the sleigh and fellow Street Fighter 5 alum G sitting in the sleigh directing it where to go.

Happy holidays to you, our devoted readers! As always, we could not do this without you, and we here at EventHubs hope you and everyone else in the fighting game community has a wonderful and safe holiday.
