Borussia Dortmund vs PSG LIVE: Champions League semi-final score and updates as Jadon Sancho starts

31 mins: From a corner, Brandt’s delivery is curled into the middle of the penalty area. Dortmund then look to send the ball back to Brandt but he’s offside when the pass is played and PSG are awarded a free kick of their own.

28 mins: Julian Brandt swings in a free kick for Dortmund from the left side of the box. It’s cleared as far as Jadon Sancho who ducks and weaves back into the penalty area before offloading the ball.

Brandt, who’s cut back inside, takes a shot and has the effort blocked.

25 mins: Niclas Fullkrug has a go for Borussia Dortmund but he’s a long way out and his effort gets blocked. The noise level has not dropped from the enthusiastic home fans.

22 mins: Borussia Dortmund defender Ian Maatsen collects a yellow card after flying in on Warren Zaïre-Emery. It was a rash and late challenge, an easy decision for the referee.

19 mins: PSG win a free kick over on the right wing inside Dortmund’s final third. Dembele whips the set piece into the middle of the penalty area but the ball is blocked by a Dortmund shirt.

Lucas Hernandez takes a knock to the head and goes down but he’s okay to play on.

16 mins: Marcel Sabitzer looks to sneak in behind the PSG defence after a pass comes over the top but Achraf Hakimi is aware of the danger and has a head start on the midfielder to get to the ball first.

PSG then transition well and send the ball up to Kylian Mbappe. He drives it forward and waits for his teammates to arrive. The ball comes over to Ousmane Dembele who goes for goal again and sends this effort just wide of the post too.

13 mins: Save! Jadon Sancho wins the ball back on the right wing and slots it forward to Julian Brandt. He feeds it into the box for Marcel Sabitzer who takes a first time shot towards goal and fizzes his effort straight at Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The big goalkeeper gets low and stops the effort, denying Dortmund the opening goal.

10 mins: Paris pus up the pitch and come from the right by feeding the ball to Ousmane Dembele. He drifts into space on the edge of the box and lets fly with a decent hit.

Gregor Kobel spies it early and watches as the ball flies wide of the far post.

7 mins: Dortmund fizz a cross in from the left but it flies through the penalty area and almost drops for Jadon Sancho by the back post but the midfielder can’t reach it.

3 mins: PSG have a few decent moments inside the Dortmund final third but nothing too threatening for the home side who go on to recover possession and look to push their opponents back.

Julian Ryerson and Jadon Sancho combine on the right side but Lucas Hernandez nicks the ball off the midfielder who attempts to weave into the box.
