Best Apple Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals 2023

The Black Friday shopping weekend is well underway, with Cyber Monday imminent – so if you’ve been waiting for the right time to splash out on some new tech, that time is officially now.

Given that its products are among the most popular on the planet all year round, you’d think that Apple doesn’t really need to participate in Black Friday (it does things slightly differently with its own ‘Shopping Event’, incentivising potential customers with a gift card if they shop direct with the brand).

But while it’s true that massive savings on the newest Apple kit at this time of year are rare, there are certainly deals to be had if you shop around, especially if you don’t necessarily need to have the very latest iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Most retailers’ offers typically run until Cyber Monday on November 27 (and sometimes beyond). With that, here’s our pick of the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Do be sure to browse our per-retailer guides too, where we round up the best bargains to to be found on the likes of John Lewis, Argos and Very (some of which may be featured below).

iPhone 15

We didn’t expect to see too many deals on the iPhone 15 this soon after launch, but Mobiles.co.uk is running a pretty tempting promotion on Apple’s latest handset.

For £29.99 a month on a two-year contract you take home the 128GB model, paying an additional £129 upfront. Altogether, that comes to £849, which is just over £50 more than the phone costs outright.

The difference here is that you’re also getting a very generous 250GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts via iD Mobile.

Granted it’s not the iPhone 15, but last year’s plus-sized iPhone 14 offers big screen goodness at a discount for Black Friday. A range of retailers including Amazon, Very and John Lewis are selling the 128GB model SIM-free for £749, £50 off the RRP.

If you’re willing to go back a bit further and don’t mind having a refurbished phone, you can currently grab an iPhone 12 from Amazon for £334, which is well under the brand-new price, while a renewed iPhone SE (2020 model) can currently be picked up for £149. For those who miss the old iPhone design, with its physical home button, this is a bit of a steal.

Should you be willing to commit yourself to a carrier, we’ve spotted a good deal on the brand new iPhone 15 with Sky Mobile, which will commit you to the 128GB model on a 36-month contract at £25 a month for the phone handset at no upfront cost, and then offer 50% off a number of its data plans, saving you hundreds over the length of the contract.

The Black Friday/Cyber Monday long shopping weekend is a great time to pick up a new iPad. While it might not be the all-singing, all-dancing iPad Pro model, Apple’s 10.2-inch entry-level slate is a more than capable tablet – and for most people, the best pick.

The 2021, 64GB model has dropped to a temptingly sub-£300 price on Very and with a number of other retailers for Black Friday.

Meanwhile, the newer 2022 model, which sports the M1 chip, is currently 13% off at Amazon, priced at £579.

Very is also offering just over £100 off the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9, which is the ultimate (if not the most portable) iPad money can buy. It’s currently being sold for a slightly less eye-watering £1,328 in the Black Friday sale.

And if you’d rather have a more backpack-friendly tablet without sacrificing the iPad Pro’s super slick ProMotion display (still a feature absent from the non-Pro lines), you can get the 11-inch model on Very from £838.

If you favour the most portable iPad on the market then you’ll be happy to know that Apple’s iPad Mini, last refreshed in 2021, can be nabbed for a good deal less than its RRP today.

Amazon currently prices it at £519.99, which is a pretty good saving on the £569 that Apple’s smallest tablet usually retails for.

The 2021 Mini was the first miniature iPad to adopt the all-screen design introduced by the Pro line a few years before.

The 2020 MacBook Air M1 may have been succeeded by the even faster M2 model, but it’s still a supremely capable everyday laptop and one that is now available at a more wallet-friendly price.

At launch, you wouldn’t have paid less than £999 for one of these 13-inch MacBooks Airs, but for Black Friday, Amazon has knocked off 20%, meaning the 256GB edition is now £797.97.

For a laptop likely to last you many years (8GB of RAM will be enough for all but the power users), that’s now a pretty good price by our reckoning.

If you think you’d benefit from the improved chip, Amazon is also offering 10% off the 2022 MacBook Air M2 (256GB edition), which is down to £1,029.97 from £1,149.

As one of Apple’s most sought-after products, it’s rare to see enormous discounts on AirPods, but there are definitely savings to be made right now.

At £199 (usually £229), you won’t find a better price for the 2nd generation AirPods Pro, which now charge via USB-C and significantly improve on the original model’s sound quality and noise-cancelling tech.

The standard AirPods lose the noise cancelling but otherwise retain a lot of the Pro’s functionality, such as spatial audio support, strong battery life and hands-free voice assistance via Siri. At John Lewis, they’re £20 off for Black Friday, priced at £149.
