Types of merchants in Palworld

There are two types of merchants in Palworld: Pal Merchants and Wandering Merchants. Pal Merchants can be found in villages and Small Settlement areas in the world, whereas Wandering Merchants spawn at random and occasionally arrive at your base in the game.

The options for buying and selling Pals are only available at Pal Merchants, as you can engage in trading Pals with them for a substantial amount of gold. Moreover, a substantial nest egg can be amassed through the sale of unused Pals, which can then be used to purchase additional Pals.

On the other hand, the Wandering Merchants only trade in essential items that will help you survive. There, you will have the option to buy schematics that teach you new crafting recipes, in addition to seeds, pal spheres, and other resources.

While some merchants spawn at random, you can locate a Settlement merchant easily by spotting a Small Settlement on the Palworld map.

The quickest approach to locate merchants in Palword is to head to a small settlement that is somewhat near to the game’s beginning. Locate this settlement at around these coordinates: -76, 488. Either climb to the peak of the mountain or cross a nearby bridge to reach the settlement, which will be situated at its highest point.
