They added that representing the royal couple was a “tantalising” opportunity but many would turn it down due to a fear of the Sussexes not listening to them.
They told the Mail: “This is a s**t sandwich that many senior PR people will not be willing to eat. Many will turn it down.
“Representing the couple in the UK is a tantalising thought but they don’t have a reputation for listening to advice. What would be the point?”
However, Nick Ede, chief executive of East of Eden PR, said that Meghan’s recruitment of a PR executive showed her popularity in the UK is still important to her.

In the video message watched by Juste’s friends and family, Meghan said: “A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Mayhew who have worked tirelessly to bring this dream to life.
“It was so important to find a way to celebrate Oli’s memory in a manner that he would have loved.
“Mayhew is a beacon of hope for those in need and a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together.”
