‘When you accuse head of the monarchy, you’re accusing the British people!’ Harry and Meghan spark fury with claims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been criticised by Kinsey Schofield, as the royal racism row rumbles on for the monarchy.

In a book released last week by Omid Scobie, named Endgame, the author and ally of the Sussexes accused two senior royals of “expressing concern” about Prince Archie’s skin colour before he was born.

Meghan Markle first made the claim in 2021, when the royal couple sat down with celebrity interviewer Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview about their exit from the royal family in 2020.

In the Dutch publication of Omid Scobie’s book, the names of two royals were published, sparking outrage from royal experts.

Speaking to ITV’s This Morning, the author denied ever writing the alleged names in his manuscripts, and blamed the Dutch translators.

Scobie claimed: “I had never submitted a book that had their names in it. So I can only talk about my version.”

Amid the race row, Prince Harry is also facing a three-day appeal hearing in the High Court, as part of a UK security battle with the Home Office.

Speaking to GB News, broadcaster Kinsey Schofield claimed that the Duke will “not be granted” the protection he is demanding.

Schofield said: “I don’t think he’ll get it. And you’re right, the reason that he was able to appeal this is because he has a history with someone in the royal fold that said there was some hostility there between the two of them, and he felt like the original ruling was unfair.

“So he challenged it, and they allowed him to challenge it.”

Schofield continued: “I think that the taxpayers will have an issue with this because in the grand scheme of things this is all happening unfortunately for him after Endgame, where the the racist royal narrative is in the headlines all over again.

“When you accuse the head of the monarchy of any sort of racism, I think you are accusing the British people of something similar, because there’s so much love and there’s so much respect for the monarchy not only in the UK but worldwide.”

Highlighting allegations and claims made in their documentary series for Netflix, Schofield stated: “That’s not even acknowledging all of the content within with all of the details and some of the blatant lies that weren’t fact checked within the Netflix program regarding racism and your side of the pond.

“So I think that people will not want to pay for his security. I think that they feel really hurt by his accusations and feel like when you brand one or two members of the British Royal Family racist, you’re blaming society for that because their family is a reflection of society.

Host Patrick Christys agreed with Schofield, admitting: “I think he’s brought a lot of the threat upon himself. He wrote some stuff in the book Spare about the Taliban, and that has massively roused up the threat from Islamist terrorism that he will no doubt face.

“I do also think he has massively annoyed the British people, disrespected a lot of them. That makes a lot of people very angry. And I’m sorry, but sometimes if you make your bed, you’ve got to lie in it.”
