Cody Rhodes successfully defended his WWE Championship in a first time match against United States Champion Logan Paul.

Despite confusion from fans, only the American Nightmare put his title on the line in Saudi Arabia, just three weeks after he beat AJ Styles to retain the gold at Backlash in Lyon.

It was another incredible effort from the controversial YouTuber turned wrestler, who came close to securing his first world title, but Cody scored the win and will carry on into the summer months.

King of the Ring final – GUNTHER vs Randy Orton winner

GUNTHER faced Randy Orton in a first time singles match, and managed to beat the Apex Predator despite two RKOs.

At WrestleMania, GUNTHER’s historic Intercontinental Title run came to an end – but now the Ring General had been crowned King of the Ring after an incredible match.

GUNTHER’s win – which looked slightly botched in terms of Orton’s shoulders not quite being on the mat – means he will face the World Heavyweight Champion (currently Damian Priest) at SummerSlam.

Besides the ending, this was a perfect display for the Austrian star, as he withstood the Viper’s onslaught, looked dominant, and scored the victory.

Queen of the Ring final – Lyra Valkyria vs Nia Jax winner

Rising star Lyra Valkyria has been making waves since her call-up to Raw in the recent WWE Draft, with wins over Dakota Kai, Zoey Stark and Iyo Sky en route to the Queen of the Ring final.

After she booked her ticket to the finals on Monday, Lyra had to face Nia Jax for the crown after the Irresistible Force beat Bianca Belair on SmackDown.

She put up a valiant fight, but in the end it was the Irresistible Force who became only the second woman after Zelina Vega to hold the crown.

Nia will get a guaranteed world title shot at SummerSlam, continuing what has been a real career rejuvenation as she put on another barnstormer of a match.

Intercontinental Championship – Sami Zayn vs Bronson Reed vs Chad Gable winner

Sami Zayn defeated GUNTHER for the IC Title at WrestleMania, and Chad Gable has been a thorn in his side ever since.

Their rivalry appeared to be a case of friendly competition, but the former Olympian’s turn to the dark side has seen the feud take a fiery turn as Gable chases his first taste of singles gold.

Throw ‘Big’ Bronson Reed into the mix, and Sami was in for a very long night.

In the end, Otis’ hesitation cost Gable as he accidentally attacked his abusive coach instead of Sami, allowing the champ to hit the Helluva Kick on Reed to score a huge win.

Women’s World Championship – Becky Lynch vs Liv Morgan winner

The Liv Morgan Revenge Tour kept on rolling in the opening match of the night as she stole the Women’s World Championship from fan favourite Becky Lynch.

While The Man was looking to push on with the gold, Liv was determinated to hurt former champ Rhea Ripley by stealing her precious title while she’s out injured.

In the early stages, commentary made a big deal of the fact that Liv has never beaten Becky, as Corey Graves insisted there is no shame in Liv finishing in second place while moderate success in her career.

No one could have expected Dominik Mysterio to botch his interference, allowing Liv to capitalise and use a chair to capture the gold from Becky.
