BRADLEY Walsh is a much loved presenter and entertainer, known for presenting shows like The Chase and Gladiators.
In a recent death hoax, claims circulated that he had passed away. However this has since been confirmed to only be an internet rumour.
Why is ‘Bradley Walsh dead’ trending?
To the relief of his fans, the only reason ‘Bradley Walsh dead’ is trending is because he was victim of of a death hoax.
There is no truth to this, and Walsh is still alive.
The cruel hoax started when someone wrote on TikTok that he had died on a page called bbcnewshq, a fake BBC News page.
The post read: “TV presenter, actor and singer, Bradley Walsh, dies aged 63 – BBC News.”

The post was accompanied by a 17 second video with a picture of Walsh and a BBC style graphic saying that he had died.
However their is no truth to the post, and just a hoax to fool Bradley’s loyal fans.
What have people said about the death hoax?
There is no comments below the video in question, which has been live on Tiktok since the early hours of January 27, 2024.
Shayan Sardarizadeh, a journalist at BBC Verify, confirmed this as false.
He posted on X: “A fake BBC News video posted by a fake BBC News account on TikTok falsely reports the breaking news that Bradley Walsh has died.
“The same account falsely reported the death of Sir David Attenborough last month. Both fabricated videos have been viewed over a million times.”
Sardarizadeh also referenced a Sir David Attenborough death hoax. Attenborugh has been victim of death hoaxes on a number of occasions, all of which were proved false soon after.
Who is Bradley Walsh?
Bradley Walsh is a presenter, comedian and actor, born June 4, 1960, in Watford, England.
Walsh began as a footballer, starting at Brentford, and going on to make appearances for Barnet, Tring Town and Boreham Wood.
Walsh was forced to retired aged 22 in 1982 due to fracturing his ankle.
Walsh has had a long career as a comedian, presenter and actor, fronting his first game show, Midas Touch, on ITV in 1995.
He has since presented Wheel Of Fortune, The Chase, Blankety Blank and Gladiators.
He presents Gladiators alongside his son Barney, who has appeared with him in Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad, and has most recently appeared in Casualty.
As an actor, Walsh has has popular roles, such as appearing as Mike Baldwin’s son Danny in Coronation Street from 2004 to 2006.
He also appeared as one of Jodie Whittaker’s companions in Doctor Who from 2018 to 2022, playing the role of Graham O’Brien.
