Liverpool snatched a 1-1 draw away to Luton Town on Sunday as momentum stalled after a strong start to the season.
Luis Diaz – back on the bench amid the ongoing situation with his father being held hostage in Colombia – came on for a late cameo and grabbed an equaliser at Kenilworth Road.
The Reds are back in Europa League action this Thursday night in Toulouse. Here we look ahead to the changes Jurgen Klopp could make to his starting XI:

Changes at the back
Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Trent Alexander-Arnold played the full match away at Luton. All three could be candidates for rotation with Brentford coming up in the Premier League on Sunday.
Joel Matip and Jarell Quansah were unused substitutes at the weekend and will be eager for minutes. Kostas Tsimikas came on to replace Joe Gomez in the second half, and may get another start this time out.
Caoimhin Kelleher missed the Europa clash at Anfield against USG last month, after an injury in training. But he is back in action now and likely to replace Alisson Becker in goal.
Endo opportunity
Wataru Endo looks poised for more game time after not featuring at all on Sunday. Harvey Elliott emerged from the bench and will also be keen to start.
Dominik Szoboszlai looked a little jaded and may be a candidate for a rest. Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch were the other two starters in the engine room and it seems likely at least one of them will be benched for Toulouse.
It remains to be seen if Curtis Jones – missing at Luton with a minor issue according to the club – is back in contention.
Gakpo unleashed
Thursday represents a good opportunity for Cody Gakpo to start, building on his second-half appearance away to Luton.
Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota all began the action on Sunday and are the ones who could be rotated.
Luis Diaz’s situation remains uncertain as his family await further updates from Colombia. Ben Doak is another candidate for minutes in France.
