Officers said the woman was reportedly assaulted by a man on Pendleton Way, on the footpath near the entrance to Tesco, at around 10.45pm on Saturday (December 16). She was then seen being driven away from the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle.
Police have now released pictures of a man and woman, with anyone who recognises them being urged to get in touch. Officers also want to speak to any witnesses.
