A body has been found in the search for a missing pensioner. North Wales Police launched a search for Kenneth Dimelow, 77, last week after he went missing.
At the time, they said he had last been seen in the Malpas area of Cheshire on Sunday, December 3. Police have now confirmed a body has been found in the search for Mr Dimelow.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the force said: “Officers searching for 77-year-old Kenneth Dimelow from the Malpas area sadly discovered the body of a man on Tuesday, December 5. The family of Mr Dimelow have been kept informed, as have the local Coroner’s Office.
“The circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.”
